Patti Link,agency partner and Director of Account Services. She is an experienced, professional who works
closely with her partner and associates on all phases of the creative product with an extensive background in print,
media, broadcast, public relations and account management. Her collaborative, problem-solving attitude, aloha
spirit and personal attention to her clients and associates have made her years in the advertising industry a successful journey.
Mort Krajec Agency Partner/Creative Director
Mort Krajec, Maui Advertising Company’s Creative Director, has over 30 years in the business. Mort is
intent on providing clients with a strategic creative approach to advertising, marketing and design.
Prior to forming their previous California agency, in 1990, he was a Creative Director at AC&R/Cochrane
Chase, Livingston & Co. in Irvine, California which was a division of Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, the world’s
largest advertising group. Here Mort worked on a variety of accounts such as: Beckman •Cadillac Motor
Division •Carl’s Jr. Restaurants •Coopervision • Little Company of Mary Hospital • PacifiCare/Secure
Horizons •PacTel •Pirelli/Armstrong Tires •Samsung Computers •Southern California Chevrolet Dealers,and
Xerox.
Besides his advertising experience with Continental U.S., Asian and European accounts, Mort worked on regional and international client accounts in Anchorage, Alaska, where he served as Senior Art Director at Murray, Kraft & Rocky Advertising. He managed the creative department and was the Senior Art Director for
many accounts including :• Alaska Airlines •Alaska National Bank •Alyeska Pipeline •Blue Cross •British Petroleum •Cunard Lines •Kentucky Fried Chicken •Pepsi Cola Corporation and Sheffield Hotels.
Upon returning to California, he held a creative management position at The Schraff Group, and also owned
another advertising design agency, The SouthWest Group.
He provides creative services pro-bono for many professional, private and charitable organizations which
includes March of Dimes, The American Heart Association, In-N-Out Burger Foundation, Make-A-Wish
Foundation, Lahaina ByPass, Lahaina Yacht Club and Rotary Club of Lahaina to name a few.
His educational background includes Cal State Fullerton (Advertising/Design/Marketing Communications),
Fullerton College (Design), and Art Center College of Design (Advertising/Graphic Design).
Mort has been visiting the islands since the 1980’s and has always wanted to live here full time. Mort enjoys meeting their new clients, has made many new friends and continues to impress their clients with his creative expertise as well as his dry sense of humor and true aloha spirit.
Patti Link Agency Partner / Director of Account Services
Patti Link, Maui Advertising Company’s partner, is responsible for the management of all Account Services. Prior to joining Mort at their California Agency, in 1991, she was a Director of Advertising at Style Design in
Newport Beach, California. Her primary account was Newport Imports, a luxury automobile dealership for
Jaguar, Range Rover, Lotus, Ferrari and Aston Martin. The account encompassed a full range of services, from creative concept through art production of print and broadcast media, public relations, media buying and co-op advertising promotions with the international automotive manufacturers.
Patti previously worked at AC&R/Cochrane Chase, Livingston & Co. in Irvine, California which was a division of
Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, the world’s largest advertising agency group. Here she had progressive
levels of experience in account services, senior traffic and production management positions. She was
responsible for the management/buying for clients’ accounts with budgets of $15 to $25 million per year, the
implementation of departmental systems, training, establishing and maintaining vendor contacts, and
creative/production management of several accounts such as: •Beckman •Caremark •Carl’s Jr. Restaurants •
Coopervision •Dollar Rent-a-Car • Epson Computers/Printers •Little Company of Mary Hospital •Mission Viejo Company •PacifiCare/Secure Horizons •Samsung Computers and Southern California Chevrolet Dealers.
Prior to this, Patti lived on Maui and Oahu, and held management positions in the Travel/Visitor industry, which
included Napili Kai Beach Club, Royal Lahaina Resort, Travelodge Waikiki and Woolworth’s Waikiki.
Her professional and charitable affiliations have included the APAOC as President, the OC Ad Club, 3M Print
Media Group, March of Dimes, In-N-Out Childrens’ Foundation, Maui Chamber of Commerce, Lahaina Yacht
Club, and the Rotary Club of Lahaina.
Patti’s educational background includes the University of Hawaii in Honolulu (Business, Hotel Management,
Marketing Communications) and Maui Community College (Liberal Arts), and ongoing professional marketing
classes and events. And, as a returning Hawaii resident, she has happily fit right back into the rhythm of the islands, as her aloha
spirit has always remained with her. Patti enjoys working with many old and new friends and clients they meet back home here in the islands through their Maui Advertising Company!
